burning CD/DVD that is both Mac/PC compatible

So I've burned several DVDs in Toast Titanium 7. I chose the Mac and PC format but when I pop the DVD into my PC, it doesn't read...

Is there anyway to burn a Mac/PC compatible DVD or am I reading Toast wrong?

The DVD is just data.

Are you sure the disc is compatible w/ the drive?

Some DVD-R drives can't read DVD+R discs (and vice-versa).
