something is wrong with my super drive.

when i try to burn a cd or dvd i get this in toast:
"The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR
Sense Code = 0x73, 0x03"

ive read on the forums that it could be the CDs or DVDs arent compatable with the drive. its weird cause it doesnt read certain discs anymore.. the same discs that i used to burn on in the 1st place. anyone else experience this? ive tried 2 other brands and still doesn't work.

im on a 12" powerbook with the latest version of tiger, burning with toast. 7.1.2

Sounds like your drive doesn't like the discs you're using with it, for some reason. I personally find that surprising, as Mac optical drives have gotten less and less picky about what discs they'll accept over recent years, at least in my experience. I'm not sure what to suggest, other than an external burner.
