Burning dmg in windows

My powerbook doesn't have a superdrive, but I need to burn a dmg file to a dvd so that it will mount in OSX. I've found tutorials to convert the dmg to an iso for burning in windows, but I can't get the disc to mount on my powerbook.

Does anyone know a way to do this so that the disc will mount properly?

good luck... i have a dmg of the Tiger videos from WWDC (all the new technology videos that were given to ADC members).. unfortunately no superdrive in my powerbook, can't burn.. so i have a 4 gigabyte dmg on my desktop for now.. at least until i can afford an firewire enclosure for my dvd burner..

well you can open it up and view the video files when it's mounted correct?

just copy the files out of the image, and burn them on a few cds?

Anyhow, I'm still in a rut... anyone else have an idea?

The dmg file itself should be mountable. unless something messed with settings, just a double click away.

well, i burned the converted dmg in windows, (windows won't read the new disc, says it's incompatable) but OSX won't do anything with the disc. I put it in, no mounting, and I don't know how to view the cd without it mounting on the desktop... is there a way?
