I have 3 .dmg files on my PC with a CD burner. I want to burn them for use on a 1999 6GB iMAC with OS9, and no CD burner.

I have CDRWIN, Roxio, and Nero and tons of blank CDrs at my disposal.

Now, on google searches, I could only find tips such as "convert to .cdr using OSX disk copy" or "change ending to .iso and burn". The former doesn't apply to me, and the latter didn't work the way I tried it.

Also, I would like to be able to boot this disk with OS9.

Can anyone help me?

I have a PC and use "Clone CD" for everything from buring Dreamcast Discs, to PCM audio (CD), I have burned several .dmg files and they work on OS X, try that for OS 9. Just a stab in the dark but a .dmg file is a .dmg file and it shouldn't matter how you burn it. If it doesn't work there is likley a code error in the program itself.

.dmg files are images. when burned they "decompress" them selves into regular format. We need a program that can read a .dmg on a pc just like a .img or a .iso.
