Ive been downloading movies for a while and i got a new mac with a dvd burner and figured i would try to burn my movies. I have toast titanium and i converted the movie to mpeg2 and it came out really bad alot worse res. than on my computer. i thought mpeg2 was dvd format, what do i have to do to my avi files that are supposed to be dvd rips to be good quality, or am i just missing something?

Thanks

If you have Toast, don't even bother to convert it to MPEG. Toast will burn the .AVI files perfectly onto a disc. I've burned a lot of 700 mb .avi videos to DVD's using Toast.
