Burning dual layer discs

I'm trying to burn a DL disc on my 17" MBP with DVD SP but each time it's getting ready to do the burn it pops out the disc along with the error:

'The recording device reported the illegal request: Unknown error (0x30,0x05)'

I've tried this quite a few times now and tried using 2 blanks thinking a disc may be faulty.

I'm using Verbatim DL discs so at least I know they are of 'decent' quality.

Anyone know what this error actually points too?

Could be the media, but Verbatim is usually the best media, in my experience.

Arse...I bought the wrong discs! It seems that I meant to buy +R DL discs and NOT -R DL discs... Thats a wasted £30!
