I understand that Apple doesn't like DVD's, not being a part of their business model, but for the life of me I don't understand why it is so hard for them to include simple software that can just burn existing DVD files directly to a DVD. For an ecosystem that is supposed to be the best for videos, what are they thinking? I don't want to make a disk image (and when I burn the disk image it won't play on multiple DVD players). I don't want to buy software, just want to burn a DVD folder to a DVD that plays. Why is that so hard?

Tried Burn yet? And it is so hard, because Apple always abandons dying technology before others do, as for the most part, it fares well with them.

And with "DVD folder" you mean a folder containing AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders and the VIDEO_TS folder containing big .VOB and some .IFO and some .BUP files?

Yep, that's what I mean exactly. I tried Burn; it won't open the files....
