Burning DVD for iTunes TV shows

I'm fairly new to the Mac so sorry if this question is somewhat obvious but it doesn't seem as if I can burn a DVD for my recent purchases of Lost, Season 2. The file format is Protected MPEG-4. That doesn't sound like a file format that can be burned to a DVD.

Can I only watch these shows on my Mac (or iPod)? My wife would prefer to watch them on TV if possible. Are there options I'm not aware of?

I don't believe the TV shows or Movies from any service, including iTunes, allow for the consumer to burn the downloaded video content onto a DVD yet. The best advise I can offer is to buy the cable to connect the iPod into the TV and play your TV shows that way. It works pretty well if you want to watch all the episodes, because you can make a video playlist and put it on your iPod, then just let it keep playing until its finished.
