Burning DVD+RW

Good day. I am trying to back up some files to a DVD+RW. When I first put the disc into my imac, it appeared in Finder at the bottom of the left pane allowing me to burn files. However, having burnt these files I wish to add more to the disc.

When I place the disc in the drive, the DVD+RW now only appears at the top of the left pane in Finder, and I can't burn files on to this.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

One of the features lacking from the finder is the ability to burn more than one session onto a disc at a time

You should be able to write data to it again, I think what you need to do is to copy the data from the disc and then burn all the stuff onto the DVD again

I can't recall exactly but you should be able to go into Disk Utility and erase the data off that DVD
