Burning DVD w/ DVD Studio Pro

Hi,
I've been trying to burn a DVD with a menu and a slideshow in DVD Studio Pro. When I burn the DVD, however, it immediately starts playing the movie instead of going to the menu (this happens both on the television and on the computer). Can anyone tell me what I should be doing differently?
