Burning DVD's from BBC I-Player on Snow Leopard

I often copy and burn videos from the likes of you tube or many other video sites using either netvideohunter or, sometimes, firefox downloadhelper, both of which are virtually automatic and very simple to use - but neither of these seem to be able to copy from BBC 1-Player so that I can burn my fave programmes to dvd. A friend has made dvds for me from bbc4 so i know it can be done on a PC, what am I doing wrong or what software do I need? Thanks for any advice!

You'll need a third party app to download from the iPlayer in a format that you can do something with. Try here:
