Hey,
I recently switched over to a mac from a pc :D , and I still have a bunch of DVD movies I copied using DVD Shrink. The problem is that DVDshrink output the movies in a series of .I0x files and an .MDS file. What mac application can I use to burn these files onto a viewable DVD?

On a related note, has any new freeware come out for the compression of DVD ripped files? I've searched the forums, and it seems that this is the only step in the DVD copying process that there is no freeware solution for. I have no problem buying software if I have to, but I suppose that the ripping and burning of DVD is the only thing that has made my transition from PC to Mac not 100% successful. :(

Re: Burning .I01 and MDS

Well it's been two years now that you have posted but I think
you should still have an answer. I hope that you found out by yourself
by now, and if you didn't, that you will check this out.
Here's two links for you, the first is how to convert I00, I01, I02, ... files
into .iso :
http://www.file-extensions.org/i00-file-extension-splited-mds-disk-image-file

Look to the "Mac users" lines. And lastly, how to do it with the terminal :

Voilà ! I hope this will satisfy you and anyone that comes to this forum for an answer by an internet search, and also that I won't be prosecuted for giving these links ^_°.

I want as well to thank www.machackpc.com and www.file-extensions.org
because you gave an answer to my questions as well.
