When I rip a store-bought CD with iTunes, it grabs the artists name, album title, song titles, etc and uses . Is there a way to burn CDs with Toast 8 to include all that metadata to be universal read by any music application on any platform?

I guess the better question may be, is there something in the manufacturing process of a mass-produced "glass master" CD that cannot be duplicated at home?

iTunes supports adding CD-Text based metadata to audio CDs. I'd be surprised if that option wasn't also in Toast. CD-Text isn't universal but is widely supported these days.
