Burning Movies

Forgive me if this is an easy question, I am new to macs so be nice lol just kidding I know you all are. Anyway. I just want to drop a video in and burn it. How do I do this. Also, I know macs don't support AVI but if I burn an AVI will it play properly on a DVD player.

Im not sure about the avi question but i think you can just import it to idvd and burn it from there

I would guess that if you can open the AVI in quicktime you will be able to burn it from iDVD... most Avi's are either divx or some windows media format, you can download a plugin for both formats

if you want to edit the avi first, open it in iMovie and then export to iDVD..

otherwise iDVD should work fine.

alternative is to use Roxio Toast..
