hiya .. im tryin to put several 45min avi files on a dvd.. i tried with idvd , thought it b easy but from 3 x 350mb files th final dvd was 7.7gb ; it took ages plus th dl burn time! im usin ffmpegx to convert single files to video ts then burn to dvd via toast..dead simpl an quick, th final disc is about 1gb.. can i do this with multiple files but without joining them so there is a menu? if not which app do i need?

If you can play it in QuickTime you can convert it using Toast. So install Perian for QuickTime and Toast will work fine.

You may also want to check out VisualHub by default each video will be a chapter not a seperate menu item like with Toast.

Third vote for Visualhub, amazing conversion software. I use it daily, I have a lot of users that make crap in Windows Media Maker and then can't do jack squat, can't make a DVD or nothing. A quick toss on to Visualhub and I've made a DVD or whatever from their video files.
