Also what about an .avi or any other format that has a subtitles file seperate...know how to put in the subtitles for the DVD format?

Eidorian macrumors Penryn Mar 23, 2005 29,196 394 Indianapolis Feb 5, 2006 #2 .ogm/.mkv is a video contain for DivX/XviD/h.264 it also supports .ogg/.mp3/.aac audio. It's great for multi audio video. The issue is splitting the right video and audio feed out of it and making it a plain .avi or .mov. I know of some Windows programs that do it but they're still buggy. Nothing on the Mac front.
