I'm running OS X 10.5.8, and using a Burn Folder in the Finder to backup my iPhoto pics to DVDs. Problem is that photos are all numbered by the camera, so there are duplicate file names (ie., 2 different photos both called IMG_0001, because the CF card was reformatted and numbering started over).

Finder gives me an error to the effect of "older file of same name exists in this location" and the option to stop or replace. Sometimes there's a third option "Don't replace." None of these seem to allow me to keep the same-named (though different) files. Renaming them doesn't help either.

Is there a workaround? Sorting through all these manually makes for a lot of what seems like unnecessary effort.

Thanks.
