Burning windows ISO files

OK, so i am getting ready to try and install windows 7 on my MBP..i have read lots, and asked several stuoud Qs. Its an ISO file, i know i need to get it to dvd...cant i just burn it using the OSX burn to dvd software?? Why are people recommending specific software for burning to dvd? THX
