I see that I have one burnt pixel right In the middle of the screen. Does apple fix this or do they replace the device? Anyone else have expierence with this?

I haven't done a pixel color test..and may not. I don't think I want to know...it will be too hard to get another and mine seems fine so far...

I guess if I spot something within 14 days then I'll swap, but so far so good, except a very very slightly bent spine on the smart cover.

Does apple usually swap them out for burnt pixels?

Apple has a policy that lest that 4 dead pixels is normal wear. It would have to be more. Sorry, but you will viewed as nit picky. Move on and enjoy.

Wrong. They will replace it, but if the replacement has less than the accepted number of pixel anomalies, they will not replace it again.

I've got the most obnoxious stuck green pixel on mine. Ughh... it's so bright!

I'm gonna take mine back next week.

last year i had only 1 pixel in the same spot on 4 different ipads, opened them right in the store to check, eventually i got one with none, if it happens this time, i will have to wait a couple weeks since there is no more in stock.

What model do you have? I've spotted one on my 64GB Verizon

The word on the street is that ALL Verizon 64GB models have 1 dead pixel.

Umm. Do you really think a dead pixel has anything to do with what radio is inside or what capacity it is?

just opened my 64Gb wifi and the display is perfect thank god. Looks like i got exactly what i wanted. Now just waiting for incase to release their ipad 2 cases:rolleyes:

The only thing Im waiting for is a jailbreak.

ull b able to return/exchange it ur within 30 days lol theres no way they can refuse u for exchangin it, if they do just get a full refund and buy another right there on the spot

Take it back for an exchange. If they don't like that, you have 14 days for a no-questions-asked return. Return it and buy another one. Problem solved. Don't deal with dead pixels or any other flaw for that matter if you're in the 14 days. I don't care what anyone says, I'd return it 5 times at 5 different stores if I had to to get what I paid for and what satisfies me. You should, too.
