Just a quick question about my 13" MacBook Pro's 60W power adapter.

The prongs have burnt, and I've noticed that sparks occasionally shoot out of the prongs when I plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

Is this a known problem, and should I ask for a replacement adapter?

What makes you think the fault is with the magsafe adapter?

Does this happen for every outlet you plug it into? If so, your warranty or Applecare should replace it.

Funny how my $17 ebay charger (which I've been chastised for) never does this. :D
