I was just wondering if these prongs looked burnt a little bit to you i know its hard to see sorry about that. It's not a reflection or anything it's black marks on the top of the prongs. on the tips of both side. it has stopped working and without visible damage present, it's all i can think that could be wrong. I'm not even sure if it could cause the entire thing to stop working or what.

Any suggestions? its the magsafe thing. are there anyy steps to somehow get this thing working i tried using it in a different outlet and on a different mac and it IS dead.

A bit of carbon on the prongs wouldn't prevent the adapter from working. More likely the marks were caused by the same power surge that damaged your adapter.

I almost see a spark everytime I plug my adapter in to my house sockets, I do live in an old house, I should try some other sockets in my house.
