I don't even know if what I'm looking for exists, here are my criteria:

  1. External;
  2. High Capacity (320GB+);
  3. Bus Powered;
  4. FireWire (preferably FW800).

Any suggestions?

If you don't need speed, you can order a 320gb 5400rpm drive and put it in a firewire800 enclosure.

The Mercury On-The-Go enclosures are what I have been seriously considering up until now, obviously I'm limited to 320GB and they are only 5400RPM, which is probably more than enough; I'm going to be using the external drive for Time Machine and to store my iTunes library, it's just that I studied video production at university and had it drilled into me that I MUST use 7200RPM drives.

Though the 320GB Little Big Disk is only $10 more [assuming you buy the On-The-Go with the drive] and looks a hell of a lot better, or at least I think it will do sitting beside my iMac.

320GB and 5400RPM is MORE THAN ENOUGH for backup and music storage, assuming your library isn't ridiculously big.

7200RPM really isn't necessary unless it's being used as for video production or some other professional task, otherwise it's just extra heat and noise.
