It has to do with the way LCDs are made, and stuff of the like. Those are pretty common "buzzwords" for nanotechnology. I do not know much about nanotechnology personally, but i would think a quick googling of nanotechnology and LCDs and some of those buzzwords would start you off in the right direction.
 
Let me start by telling you what I am doing first. I am in this class where we take university patents and see if there marketable. The one I choose deals with nano-structure positioning using template structures and a conductive sacrificial pad layer. The first part makes sense but that conductive pad is confusing me.
