I'm trying to figure out the plans right now for the 3G iphones. Am I reading it correctly to assume you really have to pay an extra 15 a month to have exchange support regardless of data usage?

I thought that Exchange support came as part of the v2.0 upgrade and is nothing to do with usage plans. Even closer tie in via MobileMe which is certainly not £15 per month.

Then why exactly would someone need to go with the 45 dollar data plan over the 30 dollar?

If a corporation buys the iPhone for you, they have to pay 45 USD for data. Because I think doing corporate mail causes a lot more traffic than consumer mails.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if I buy the iphone myself and use it for business purposes I still only have to pay 30 bucks for the data plan?
