I am on a brand new (got a week ago) 13 inch Macbook Pro, running 10.10.3. Very frequently, when I open the machine in the morning, and it comes out of sleep mode, I type my password, but it either freezes while logging me in, or it acts like I am not even hitting the return key. It just sits there until I forcibly turn it off. Then it seems to run fine. Here is what I've already done:
- Wiped and reloaded the OS, then manually moved documents, reinstalled applications and such (didn't use migration assistant).
- Ran Onyx to clear things like the system cache, saved application states, other general maintenance.
- Tried a local user, rather than my AD account, still same problem.
I'm at a loss. Yosemite on my old Macbook Air was fine, none of these issues. But on this loaded, brand new machine, I've rebooted manually basically every day since I got the machine, which is frustrating. I'd love some suggestions. Thanks in advance!
