Buttons going crazy

I have a wired keyboard, Not one of those new fancy ones just an older white and plastic one and everytime i press <SPACE> the letter B comes up.

So if i were to type without erasing the B's it would look like this

Hi bmy bname bis bmac bboy b007

There are a few others such as
Hifen(sp?) -5
Underscore _%
Apostrophe 'g
Left square bracket t[

Yes I did search but it is hard to determine phrasing

Also I am using it on a PC but i have tried it on a Mac and the result is the same

If you are having the problem on both a PC and your Mac, it sounds like your keyboard is bad (sending out the wrong ASCII codes based on key mapping).

It's time for you to get a new keyboard.
