Buttons on windows sometimes lock up

Has anyone else had a problem where buttons on the screen seem to lock up? For instance, on a form in Safari, it takes 5 or 10 clicks to get a checkbox to respond. (Actually it happened on this page... the Submit button isn't clicking). I am wondering if it's a software conflict or something.

I am running OS 10.3.5 on a Dual 2.0 G5. I know this is a strange problem and understand if nobody has an answer.

I know exactly what you mean -- I get that when I'm using Firefox.

I've had some interface anomalies since downloading 10.3.5; this is one of them. I don't know if 10.3.5 is actually to blame, though.
