Buy 13" rMBP now or wait for El Capitan?

I'm planning to order a maxed-out 13" rMBP and wondering if I should wait until September 30th so it (presumably) comes pre-loaded with El Capitan, or should I just order it now and do the OS upgrade when it is available? Wondering if in the past there has been any advantage to getting a clean install of the new OS rather than upgrading. Thanks.

Buy now and then upgrade. Clean installs don't really offer any benefit on OSX.

upgrade by yourself is a learning curve and fun...You can do that! Don't let Apple employees earn big money!

Buy now. If you buy now you can always install Yosemite by internet restore after you upgrade to EC. If you wait to EC is shipped you can't internet restore over it back, you will have to keep a Yosemite installer.

no, you won't have to pay.

Starting with Mavericks, all OS X upgrades are free.
There's no harm in upgrading to the GM of El Cap, it's working perfectly for quite a number of people.

Actually windows 10 is free for the vast majority of windows 7 and windows 8 users as an upgrade.

Thats good to know I can take my Windows desktop PC out of self storage and install Windows 10.
