Buy a case or wait for new iPhone?

I'm so torn.....I've had every generation of iPhone but not sure I'll be able to afford the next version right away. I also need a new protective case but don't want to waste the money on a good one if I do end up upgrading phones. Any advice? Anyone else in the same boat?

Don't buy anything - enjoy what you have and don't drop your phone. Go out and play in the son. Love life. That's my advise. Good luck.

The average decent "brand name" case is $35 retail. I really don't mean to be rude, but if you cannot afford that, my advice is don't buy anything; you are too strapped for cash and this shouldn't be a priority.

An aCase is what I use along with an Otterbox. The aCase is OK for just about anything. And it's only $10 on amazon. When you sell, throwing this in might make it easier.

You can get a good brand name case for cheap. I use the Zum Geele that is just $10 at Amazon. Also the Zoogue case is free and you just pay $4 for shipping.

A case will help preserve the resale value of your phone when you decide to upgrade and sell it.

You can find a nice one at any store. I've seen a lot of them on the sales rack. Five Below have them for $5. Marshalls Target Walmart Staples TJ Maxx etc have cases. Check there.

Get a Speck, like $20. Then if you do upgrade add $10 to your selling price to offset the cost.

So you're basically trying to decide whether to buy a case for your existing phone or wait and buy a new iPhone which you can't afford. Sheesh, seems like a no-brainer to me.
