Buy a new MacBook Pro?

I am wondering if I should buy a new MacBook Pro when Apple is on the verge of ditching intel? Back in 2005 they moved from PPC to Intel and I then bought a iBook the day before the switch.
I’d hate to spend $1700 on a 16GB RAM 500 GB HD machine only to realize that Apple won’t be making Mac OS compatible with it after a few years.

If you're truly concerned about ARM Macs, then wait for after WWDC.

In other words, consider buying in the SECOND HALF of 2020.
