Buy an iPhone 4 in the USA????

Hi so I am currently in Orlando at the mo and i was thinking about buying the iPhone 4 in Orlando then just getting a sim only iPhone contract. Does any one know if this will work and will the iPhone come with world wide warranty.

All the iPhones for sale in the US are SIM locked to AT&T... You'll need to unlock in order to use other SIMs.

Which country are you from?

A lot of people seem to get the impression that you can get an iPhone 4 SIM free in the US when you simply can't.

Sorry, no. All U.S. iPhones come locked to AT&T. No way around it.
