Buy an iPhone 4 now or wait for ATT's move...

Hi,

I want to buy an iPhone 4 from ATT. I was looking at the refurbished ones, but still the cheapest one costs $79 (refurbished with cosmetic blemish) which is not a bad price at all.

But, now that Verizon has announced their availability of iPhone's, will it be smart to wait and see if ATT comes out with a new promotion or something?

Note that I'm not saying that I want to wait for june or iPhone 5. I just want one much sooner than that.

I dont think they will drop the price. If anything they will do something will the plans. Verizon looks pretty good right now though will the rumored $30 unlimited data with wifi hotspot. its only a rumor but if its true id be all over that if i wasnt in a family plan. since its only like 2 weeks though it doesnt hurt to wait.

Guess you are right. Waiting another 2 weeks won't be that bad. ATT might do something to avoid people seeing Verizon as the better option, or not.
