Buy apple tv in Los Angles, US or London, England?

hello. i have somone that can buy apple tv in us. i am nr 6-7 on the list of people he is buying for. he is in LA next week.

i also have a friend from monday to saturday in London. They have the biggest apple store in the world.

should i send money to the guy in usa or mye friends in england?

i have less then 1 day to decide

Anyone know if there will be region issues between US and international units? I haven't paid that much attention to the AppleTV, but it seems like that could be an issue.

my freinds picked up an apple tv in london for 30 min ago
