We already know that you cannot walk-in on April 24th and buy an Apple Watch, but will you be able to walk-in and buy a band on launch day without pre-ordering/reserving beforehand? Apple chat support specialists could not give me an answer on this.

Buy Apple Watch Bands April 24th without Pre-Order?

My guess is yes. But it's probably a good idea to call the store on the 22nd ish to get confirmation.
I'm not sure, but in initial release of info, they said individual bands would be available shortly after the release.
I think you might be able to order the bands online, but based on the way Apple is handling the launch (no walk ins, reservation only), I doubt they'll carry individual bands in store on launch day.
They probably will have the bands and you'll be able to get them without waiting in live.
I got my iPhone 6 from Best Buy then walked past the Apple Store line into the store to buy an Apple case. I feel like Apple is pushing for people to order online and then got spend more on accessories in stores.
