Buy Applecare for rMBP and it also covers Thunderbolt Display?

I bought a rMBP and a Thunderbolt Display in January and was thinking about getting the Applecare soon for them. I think I read once that if you buy Applecare for the rMBP it will also cover the Thunderbolt Display automatically.

Has anybody had this experience?

If the computer and display are on the same receipt the extended warranty will cover both the laptop and display
