Buy from Apple or Amazon?

I'm considering buying a baseline Macbook Pro.

If I buy from Amazon, I don't have to pay any tax.

Is there any benefit from ordering directly from the Apple website?

Would Amazon be worse than Apple if I had problems with my Macbook Pro?

Apple is still the provider of warranty coverage. Amazon is just going to be in the picture until you're out of the return/replacement period for them.
