This will be my first Mac computer since the one I used to play on when I was 2 years old (in 1984).
I am wondering where is the best place for me to purchase it? I live in California and am eligible for the education pricing/student discount. The student discount comes out to around 10% off. Tax here is around 7.5%.
My question for all the wise people on this board -- is there any site where I can get educational pricing and not have to pay the tax? I know Amazon doesn't charge tax to California (for a few more months) but does anyone know how long until they will stock the new 15" MacBook Pro Retinas?
