Buy iPhone 4 online or in-store?

I'm a current T-mobile user with a Blackberry. I want to switch to AT&T and get the iPhone 4 Just trying to decide where should I go get it? Online @ Apple store or the one near me? Or an AT&T store???

I know online you can choose what contract you want and options can you do this at the apple store?

Go to the Store.

Before you pay for it, look at it.

No scratches or blemishes. : Check.

Turn on. Open the browser with a blank page. Look at the screen and make sure it's OK. : Check.

Record a video of you saying 123 123 123. Play it back. Did it record the sound? turn the volume up. Make sure the speaker is loud as it should be. : Check.

Take a picture. Is it clear? Camera is great? : Check.

Go back to the video and turn flash on. Look at it. Flash works? Check.

Make sure the home button is nice and clicky. : Check.

Happy? OK. That's your iPhone 4. Pay.

Go home. Buy the case i bought.

Enjoy.

I am a BB user also. Bold 9000 as of 1 week ago.

BTW, Gmail push is done through Exchange, don't set up as Gmail.

Anything wrong if you get it at home, you're going to be mad, then you have to drive all the way to the store and argue with them. Better do it right in front of them before you pay.

I bought the iPhone 4 on day 1 at an Apple store. Had to wait in line for a LONG time even though I had reserved the phone there. Many people said to me, why not just order it and have it delivered? Well, I wanted to actually SEE the phone in advance to ensure it was flawless.
So I ALWAYS suggest you see it before you buy it.
And mine has, in fact, been flawless!:)

Whichever you want, but if it was me I would go for AT&T since you are not w/ them right now, you might have some questions on the plans or a discount to be applied and the apple store employee might give you less info than what you want...
