Buy iphone 5a now or during iphone 6 release?

Hey guys I'm planning to upgrade my iphone 4 to the 5s. But since I don't have an upgrade plan with tmobile, I have to buy the phone flat out retail price. It's not worth for me to buy the iphone 6 for $650+ so I'll have to settle for the 5s for now. So does it matter if I buy the 5s now or later? I'm looking through craigslist and the cheapest I can find is around 425+, I'm planning to keep the phone for Atleast 2 years

You could go to AT&T and have an upgrade plan. I'm going from iPhone 4 to iPhone 6.

My family's happy with t mobile at the moment so I don't think I'll be able to switch carriers for awhile
