Buy LaCie Drives now or wait?

I wanted to buy a LaCie d2 Quadra drive, but I know they have updated the drive lately (just the looks of it). Should I wait for the new drive?

I never bought this brand because the reviews were bad on noise. So my recommendation is go the apple store and listen to noise level and decide. Maybe the drive you are talking about is different then the ones I was reviewing on Apple Store.
