No updates: you're upset and moaning over the lack of updates and you could have had your laptop 3 hours earlier.

I would take the plunge. There will be no updates to MacBooks today.

If you are in the US, Amazon and Newegg will ship your order if you place it by 2pm. If I were you I would wait because if they do in fact change the model, most places will give you a hard time to return the machine and some might now even accept a return.
