As per the title.

Obviously I’ll be risking having to wait for delivery, which would been weeks away.

However, getting £150 back feels nice.

What would you do?

Do you need it now? In other words, no computer now = no food on table? If not - then wait and take the savings.
I don’t actually have a computer now (iPad Pro with MKB) but I’ve waited this long.

I’m just thinking the wait times will be far away.

Is it a £150 gift card?

Being the impatient kind I would get it now. o_O There isn't a right answer only a right answer for you.

If I recall correctly, the highest end MBP's haven't always had Black Friday discounts or been included in the Store Credit promotion. Some years yes, some years no. But, I could be mistaken.

I mean - with the supply chain the way it is and orders already lined up through December, what's the incentive for Apple to give $150 discounts on the Pro end laptops this year? I think it's unlikely. MacBook Airs and 13" MacBook Pro's only is my bet.

It just occurred to me that they have the extended return period.

I could get one now, then if they do offer a gift card, just buy another one and return the one I have.

Or give them a call. Apple can be understanding.

Little chance of discounts on new releases. The whole point of Black Friday is to clear out old stock, or do loss leaders, and encourage rash buying decisions from FOMO. Why else do they do it?
