I searched for it and couldn't find the answer. If you have a family account and want to purchase iphones for lets say 3 out of the 4 users, do 3 people have to be there?

From what i ahve read, yes. If you bring three babies your in the go.
 
Just confirmed even if you have a family plan each person has to be there.
