Buy multiple devices at store in line on launch day?

Having never lined up for launch day for any iPhone, does anyone know if it is okay to buy more than just one device? Or do they restrict it to a single device per person?

How many threads is this for you now? There should be a quota system or something. The limit at the Apple store, as has been discussed in other threads, is 2 per person.
