For those that are thinking of buying The 5S Now is the time as Apple will be launching in more counties on November 1 as well as the holiday rush starts. Also there's a good chance of a deal with China mobile which would also limit supply

I'm pretty sure that Apple will be shipping at least the same amount of iPhones (5s) to the states after the phone releases in other countries. I'm pretty sure that they've been building a stockpile of iPhone 5s' to sell in those countries.
 
The second wave will occur on the 25th.
Apple have raised by 75% the production of the 5S.
I'd expect Stores to have phones for everyone pretty soon.

I think you are over analyzing the Apple supply chain.
 
I've randomly checked on site pickup and saw some carrying the gold but I couldn't by it cuz I ordered online already

So next launch I will not ****ing preorder. I may not preorder the ipad

You can cancel it and just proceed with the pickup option, a lot of people here have managed to do that. As long as it is not confirmed for shipping, you can cancel.
