I'm currently running windows and beginning to dispise it even Bill gate's stupid grinning face!!!
So i'm thinking of converting :apple:, i'm currently looking at the middle of the range macbook at £829, or a base MBP from the states, damm you apple for your price difference! anyway i've read the rumours that an update is due i like the sound of the aluminium casing but a price drop would be more appealing. Wat do you think do i wait based upon speculation and random dates of this upgrade or do i buy now and get the free ipod and student discount?
Please help

The majority of the price difference is due to the UK government. Prices in the UK tend to include VAT, whereas in the US it's added on afterwards.

Saying that, you mention you're a student. Just go for the student pricing, which is a big saving over what the rest of us workers have to pay ;)
