I hope you guys arent sick of imac questions yet.
Im looking to buy one for photoshop work, HD movie editing (720p), handbrake, and some light gaming. Im currently using a macbook aluminium (2008 model) and it crawls on some photoshop plugins and movie editing.
Of course Id like to get the 27 i7, but dont want to spend unnecessary cash if I dont need to. Would the i3 21 be good enough for my kind of work? Actually I rarely game anymore, but intend to play Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 on bootcamp when they come out. Im a Bioware whore.
I suspect the ATI 5670 wont be able to run these games at 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Another alternative is to continue working on the macbook, and wait for the 2011 refresh. After all those games are only coming out Q4 of 2011 or so.
