Hello, As I have combed through these forums non stop, I see the same issues. Unable to get the M1 resolution correct with Ultra wides unless you download a 3rd party app. Or blurry text " which I am facing on my ultra wide" 3440x1440... I have probably watched every YouTube video related to these issues, hoping there would be a direct common correction without luck. Should you just settle and pay the big bucks $1400+ for something that will work? Or wait a month or two to see what is coming out? I have found a few articles on potential new releases coming soon.

I am looking for a a 4/5k solution. I would love ultra wide but nothing seems to work 100% without a trade off. at least from what I have found.

In same situation:

assume you aren't using the LG ultra fine's then? It's BS, the stop gaps apple has up to use 3rd party monitors easily.

$700+ for the 24" is ludicrous to me.

Truthfully, after all the threads I have read it seems that more than half the users are in the same boat. We all just want a large Ultra wide UHD or UHD+ monitor that works correctly in the 32'' and up category... I am currently using an LG 34'' Ultrawide. I don't have the resolution scaling issues. but I do have the not so crisp font issues.... drives me nuts.
