I've always enjoyed using my iPod Touch and have sat on the idea of buying an iPhone for quite some time now as it becomes annoying bringing both a phone and a Touch with me. I was wondering what the current perspective is on the new 3GS's. I have been hearing that there is some problems with overheating when it comes to the batteries and some people have said that there are no changes in battery life. Should I wait to buy one or does Apple not have any plans to rectify the battery issue? Or is it just best to keep my BB Curve (which is on verizon). That also brings about another discussion, when verizon goes 4G LTE will Apple most likely develop an iPhone like product or will Apple continue to make the iPhone exclusively for AT&T in the US?

Nobody outside of apple knows what the next generation will look like. Only time will tell...

I'd wait a few months or wait until the 4G comes out next year.
