My wife and I have each have an IPhone. If I buy a movie in ITunes, can it be loaded into each IPhone? If Yes, will the expiration of the movie be separate for each IPhone?

if i were you, I'd rent the movie from someplace cheap (like Redbox, which is $1 a day), then use handbrake to rip the movie to your phone. No DRM to mess with, and you can put the movie on as many iphones as you want.

As long as the PC/Mac the iPhone is synced to has the video, and is authorized to use content from the owners account.

If both phones are synced on the same computer, then YES

Apparently not for rented movies. Once I moved the rented movie to the first IPhone, it disappeared off the Mac's library. So, I cannot see how I can move to the second IPhone.
